Greek Island Ferry Pass — Reality Check

Sum your planned ferry legs and compare to the (mostly discontinued) regional passes. Honest verdict on whether the pass product exists for your trip.

Honest about discontinued products Single-leg sums No booking — informational only

What this solves

Several regional ferry "passes" (Aegean Pass, Cyclades Pass, Dodecanese Pass, Ionian Pass) existed in the early 2010s. Most have been discontinued, suspended since COVID, or rebranded as season-specific promotional bundles with strict eligibility. This tool sums the single-deck-fare total for your chosen legs and compares to the current pass product (if any) for your season — with an honest verdict on whether the pass actually exists.

Calculator

How to read the result

The output gives you three numbers: total single-ticket cost, current best pass price (if the pass is on sale for your season and your route mix), and a verdict. The honest verdict is often "buy singles" because the regional passes either don't exist anymore, are highly conditional (e.g. only valid on one operator, only for residents, only mid-week), or are not actually cheaper than singles once you add the booking fees and operator restrictions.

If your trip uses only one operator (e.g. all Blue Star), that's the only realistic way a "pass" can work — and Blue Star doesn't sell a pass product. The Seajets "Island Pass" (limited availability) is the closest thing in 2025-2026.

FAQ

Is there a Cyclades Pass?

Not as a general sale product in 2025-2026. There was a product in 2014-2017 that covered Piraeus-Naxos-Paros-Mykonos-Santorini for ~€120 total. Since COVID-19 the regional passes have been discontinued or rebadged as promotional operator bundles.

What about the Aegean Pass?

The Aegean Pass was a Hellenic Seaways product (2015-2019). It's not currently sold. Hellenic Seaways does run a frequent-traveller discount on individual bookings but no multi-leg bundle.

Is there any way to bundle ferries?

Yes — but only as a package tour. Greek package holiday operators (TUI, Jet2, etc.) sometimes bundle flights + ferries + hotels, but the ferry legs aren't separated as a "pass" you can buy. Booking singles is the norm.
